I am predicting in my lifetime there will be a resource war. Instead of something like a trade route for spice, a valuable mineral, or a crop ingredient, there will be real problems with cultivating the mental faculties of a nation and converting it into talent. At some point, someone needs to start asking for the real reasons as to why the train and the aeroplane are going extinct in Africa, why Mexico has assembled vehicles of every brand in the world but has yet to invent one of its own, why the entire industrial capacity of China has consistently failed to produce a computer system of repute without cutcopypasting, why do resource rich and labour abundant territories like Indonesia remain poor.
