Public, or social housing is one of the most expensive forms of welfare possible and the least expendable. The goods can only be distributed ONCE, the tenants do not assign much effort to the improving their lots, and definitely do not fulfil the cost of maintenance. Often they are a profound drain on the resources of a city, sometimes to the point of bankruptcy, yet we still have more people demanding more and more social housing - which they obviously don't imagine themselves paying for. In my town, the equivalent of a two story brick townhouse with two bedrooms could cost $200,000 as small apartment, and $2M as suburban plot, or basically unobtainable on an above average fulltime income. But, by refusing to apply for work, or just being foreign and refuse to return to their original homes, a huge expense can be cut. What could be obtained by decades of sustained effort and hard budgeting can be acquired by doing....nothing at all. Even if they do have to pay a portion of their own welfare to live there, it is nothing compared to the initial cost of providing those resources that will never see a return on investment within 200 years
Black people take, without giving back to an apartment, home or neighborhood. My dad had a friend during his life that was in charge of building and maintaining the 'projects' for blacks, in his town. That gentleman told my dad that as nice as these apartments were, they would be totally destroyed within the year, or within six months. Lack of a sense of order in a neighborhood is an engraved invitation to crime. Destruction is a beckoning call.
For some unknown reason, black people love tear up things, even to their detriment, even where they themselves live. My dad has seen projects, built from the inside out of concrete blocks, totally decimated. How do they do that?
About the worst I have heard, is a story about one of the 'new concept' project apartments. They are built like a Charleston town home and are beautiful by anyone's standards. The results were shameful after having a black family reside there for one year. The hardwood floors had pits and deep holes dug into their once pretty surface. The sheetrock was long gone, from fists, fireworks and gunshots. Even the shingles were mostly missing, used, instead, as a Frisbee or a deadly form of boomerang. Window glass was all shattered. It would look appropriate on Halloween.
The immigration mills only cranked up their quotas even harder. They openly advertise that literally everything is for free in the homes of the white man, and that literally everyone is entitled to it. As soon as the resource shortages started, all they could think of was our government providing more free stuff to compensate.
